Fontenoys to hold dinner this Friday

LIATROIM Fontenoys GAC club notes for the week commencing February 8:
The club dinner dance will take place on Friday February 12 in the Function Room.

A special presentation will be made to the senior hurling team, winners of the Down Intermediate Championship. Tickets cost £17 each and all tickets must be putchas
ed by Wednesday February 10 from Dan Morgan.

* A meeting of all players who are interested in playing for either the seconds or thirds teams this year will take place on Wednesday February 10 at 7.30pm in the function room.

If enough players don’t turn up then one of the teams may be withdrawn from the league.

* U14 hurling training takes place every Monday on the Astro Turf, Donard Park, Newcastle, leaving Leitrim corner at 7.20pm. Sessions run from 8-9pm and cost £2 per night.

* Indoor training for U10 hurling and football takes place every Tuesday in the hall from 7-8pm.

* U12 and U14 camogie training continues every Friday in Finnis Parish Hall from 6-7pm. U10 camogie training was postponed next weekend but will resume on Saturday February 20 from 11am–12 noon. Parents are asked to contact Mo Mac on 07817954463 to organise a rota lift system.

* Lotto - Thursday February 4 – 1, 8, 13, 22. There was no jackpot winner five match three winners: Mo Mac, Michelle McCabe, Anne Kelly, Monica Cunningham, Joan Brown. The sellers prize was won by Meg Burns. Next week’s jackpot is £2,600 with the draw to be made in Turley’s Bar on Thursday February 11.
