Teenager suffers bite marks in early morning attack

A 17 YEAR old man suffered a number of injuries including bite marks to his body and a swollen eye in an incident in the early hours of Saturday morning in Dunmurry.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested following the assault which occurred at Glengoland Park. He has been released on unconditional bail and is due to return back to Lisburn Police Station next month.

The police went to the scene after a neighbour made a complaint about a fight in the vicinity. When they arrived they found one youth seriously hurt with injuries to his face and body and one person was seen running off towards the Stewartstown Road.

Witnesses said they saw up to four males in an apparent fight.

One male was detained by police at around 2.25am.

The 17-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries to his face and body. Lisburn police are investigating the incident.
