‘A Friendly Match’ at the Braid

BALLYMENA Borough Church Members’ Forum invite you and your friends to ‘A Friendly Match’ on Tuesday, January 22, at 7.30pm in The Braid.

This is the second of a series entitled ‘Journeys in Understanding’ and the organisers are thrilled that Trevor Ringland and Mickey Harte have accepted to invitation to attend and to speak.

Trevor Ringland is a former Irish Rugby Player and politician and chaired the One Small Step Campaign promoting a shared future in Northern Ireland.

Mickey Harte is manager of Tyrone GAA and father of the late Michaela McAreavey who was murdered in January 2011 while on honeymoon in Mauritius.  There will time for questions after they speak and light refreshments will be served at the end of the evening. Forum members are grateful to the Good Relations Unit of Ballymena Borough Council and the Mayor for their practical and financial support for this event.
