A SPECIAL service of thanksgiving and praise has been planned to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Boy’s Brigade in Mid-Antrim.

This service will be held in Wellington Presbyterian Church on Sunday, March 24 at 6.30pm.

It has been promised that an old boys choir be formed to lead the worship. The choir practise will be held in Wellington Presbyterian Church on the following Tuesdays: February 26, March 5, 12 and 19 at 8.00pm.

A spokesperson said: “So come on the boys of the old brigade to praise and thank God that we are still promoting our object- the advancement of Christ’s kingdom amongst boys.”
