Cullybackey lawyer admitted to bar of New York’s Supreme court

CULLYBACKEY man and former pupil of Ballymena Academy and Buick Memorial, Phillip Young, has been admitted to the Bar of New York State Supreme Court at a Ceremony in the Gov.Nelson A. Rockafellar Empire State Plaza Convention Centre, Albany New York on January 24.

Phillip graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Law back in 2007, he was also awarded the Lord Chief Justices Prize and the D.J Hill prize. He further pursued legal studies at Kaplan Law School London, qualifying as a solicitor of the Senior Courts England and Wales.

He was awarded a scholarship to Harvard University Law School where he graduated with a Master’s of Laws in 2011. Phillip is currently a leading American Law Firm in London.
