Cullybackey WI

PRESIDENT of Cullybackey WI Mrs Betty Kyle welcomed a large attendance to the latest meeting on February 7.

Speakers for the evening were George Clarke and Margaret Murphy from Cullybackey Development Association.

Margaret showed slides and gave an up-date on the Association, pointing out that with voluntary help they are hoping to improve the village and make it a more attractive place for both local people and tourists.

The competition for the oldest picture of Cullybackey was won by Myrna Douglas with Eleanor McIlroy second and Ruth Orr, third. Birthday girl was Pat McDowell.
