Glarryford WI’s December meeting

ON Thursday, December 13, the ladies of Glarryford WI travelled to Logan’s Restaurant, Cloughmills for their Christmas Party.

President Marion Gregg welcomed everyone and after grace was said by vice-president Heather Coleman, a delicious meal served was enjoyed by everyone.

The friendship trophy was won by Marion Gregg and on the spot winners were Deborah Erwin, Muriel Whitten, Jacqueline Matthews and Margaret Murray-Tait.

Results of the monthly competition for the oldest Christmas Card were 1st and 2nd Nan McLaughlin, 3rd Mary Reid and 4th Sandra Patton.

After the singing of Christmas Carols led by Heather Armstrong, the evening ended with the singing of the Countrywoman’s song.
