ST Mary’s Parish Centre, Martinstown, was the venue on Friday for the official launch of Glenravel Oil Club.

The Club has been set up for residents in the Glenravel area by Glenravel & District Community & Residents’ Association through funding provided by PHA and assistance from Ballymena Borough Council.

It will help purchasers of central heating oil make savings by buying in bulk.

By combining orders from participating members, oil prices can be negotiated with oil suppliers to get the best price. It also enables smaller deliveries to individual members at competitive prices that may not be available to those outside the scheme.

To-date over 80 members have joined the club. Four deliveries have been made and members have made savings of up to £36 per delivery.

If you would like to find out more about the scheme just log on at www.glenraveloilclub.co.uk or phone 07856 335221 to speak to the scheme’s coordinator.
