Local teenagers produce Titanic DVD

MEMBERS of Ballymena Central Library’s Youth Think - Tank have produced a short film based on The Titanic.

The film was first suggested in the spring of 2012 by the enthusiastic members of the Think - Tank who wanted to celebrate the centenary of the vesel’s sinking. DVD copies of this film were produced and each member of the group was presented with a copy of the DVD at the Youth Think-Tank meeting which took place on Thursday, February 7.

The Youth Think-Tank is a mix of a reading and debating group, which meets on the third Thursday of every month from 3.45pm - 4.45pm in Ballymena Central Library.

If you’re age 14 - 17 and enjoy current affairs, would like to meet new friends and chat about contemporary issues and books, new members are very welcome.

For further information, contact Ballymena Central Library (5 Pat’s Brae, BT43 5AX) on telephone number 028 2563 3590 or email ballymena.library@librariesni.org.uk
