Student walk for suicide awareness
ELEVEN students from the Northern Regional College Trostan Avenue have been trying to raise awareness for PIP’s, a regional charity which aims to prevent suicide through education and which deals with suicide awareness in Northern Ireland.
The students intend to do this by holding a sponsored walk on Tuesday, March 12, at Glenariff Forest Park.
All Business and Administration Level 3 student, they chose this event and charity for their assignment after a representative from PIP’s gave them a talk on the work they do.
They would like to hear from anyone who would like to get involved in the walk and help raise awareness about the charity. Just contact contact Lawrence Purdy at the Trostan Avenue Building on 028 2563 6221
