Recent graduates from the Transform project at Green Pastures Church, Galgorm  INBT-36F-TRANSFORM GRADUATION.

AUGUST saw a celebration of a group of people who have completed the Transform Programme at Green Pastures, the people’s church in Galgorm.

Transform is a six month programme which runs for three days each week and is aimed at people who wish to break a negative cycle in their lives.

Each participant is provided with encouragement in Christian values and also life and social skills training containing confidence building elements such as community involvement, fostering workplace skills and developing participants’ creativity.

Each participant is provided with personal mentoring to aid them throughout the duration of the programme. It is the hope of the facilitators that at the end of the process participants are able to face their future with greater confidence and abilities to take them to the next level.

Among those who have completed the most recent programme some have moved on to full-time employment and every participant has testified to having developed personally and socially as a result of taking part in the programme and are determined to make a positive difference in the lives of their homes and communities.
