FRESH from rocking The 2009 CMA Country Music Festival & UTV's Countryfest, Colm Kirwan is set to return to Northern Ireland with a few Nashville friend's for a 'Once in a Lifetime Nashville Showcase' at The Braid, Ballymena on November 20.
The talented singer-songwriter, and son of legendary Irish performer Dominic Kirwan, took centre stage at the CMA Country Music Festival as the only Irish performer in the International line-up, alongside legendary artists such as Taylor Swift, Brad
Paisley, Gretchen Wilson, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Leann Rimes, Wynonna, The Judd's, The Bellamy Brothers and many more.

Colm thrilled the Nashville audiences with an electrifying full-throttle performance of material from his forthcoming new album written and recorded in Nashville including 'Country State of Mind', 'My Small Town', 'The Grass Is Always Greener', 'On The Other Side' and 'Please Tell Me You Can Love Me To'.

Announcing his arrival on the world country music stage in style, Colm showed an ease with the huge crowd beyond his years and gave a memorable power performance under Nashville's Skyline.

Arguably one of Ireland's most exciting male vocalists and song writing talents, Colm impressed Nashville's music royalty with his easy going, approachable charisma and fearless willingness to take chances stepping outside the traditional lines of country music with his own unique sound.

On stage with Colm for this unforgettable showcase are Joey & Rory winners of America's hit television show 'CMT's Can You Duet', with performances from their 'Top-20 US Chart Hit Album' including smash 'Cheater Cheater'.

Also performing will be Cathy-Anne McClintock, a rootsy singer/songwriter with strong Bluegrass influence who went to No2 in the UK Hotdisc Charts with her first release 'I Doubt If It Does To You' and has just entered the same chart again with her latest release 'Crazy Bout You'.

Other performers include Steven McClintock, an award winning singer/songwriter with over 400 hits to his name recorded by some of America’s biggest country stars including Andy Williams, Pat Boone, Victoria Shaw and The Nelsons and finally Julie Forester, who toured Europe as the lead in the musical based on the life of 'Eva Cassidy' and is renowned for her soulful vocals and beautiful lyrics.

Tickets are on sale now from The Braid box office on 02825635900.
