REHEARSALS begin this week for C21 Theatre Company's production of Sleeping Beauty to be staged at The Braid Arts Centre from December 8 to 22.
After last year's sell out production of Cinderella, C21 have produced a bigger and better spectacle for all the family to enjoy.

A stellar cast including Richard Clements (Lyric’s ‘Wizard of Oz’), Emma Lawless (Lyric’s ‘What the Donkey Saw’) and
Chris Patrick Simpson (RTE’s The Guards, Magdalene Sisters) will perform in what is billed to be the best production yet.

C21 are delighted to have local man Mark Dougherty (On Eagle's Wing) directing the music while Pantomime Master himself Peter Quigley will once again direct the show.

Ballymena actor and producer Stephen Kelly brings his company back to The Braid for a third successive year and is delighted at the prospect:

"We are very proud to be performing at The Braid again and promise that local audiences will not be disappointed. We are showcasing some of the best musical theatre talent in Northern Ireland in this production of Sleeping Beauty and it would be a shame to miss it," Stephen said.

The company are also delighted to be handing a professional debut to two young actors in Ruby Campbell (Sleeping Beauty) and Cavan Clarke (Prince) who both hail from Larne.

So get down to the Braid Arts Centre at 7.30pm on Thursday, December 10, December 11, December 12 (3pm), December 17, December 18 and December 19 (3pm).

School performances will run from December 8 to 22 on weekdays at 10am and 12.30pm.

Contact the Braid Arts Centre for tickets on 02825635900. Special rates available for groups.
