Robert was married to Hannah Greenleese 1st Pres. church Broughshane.

I thought there might be recruitment records for imigrants or farewell records when they left Antrim Sept 1874 to catch the SS Nelson (maiden voyage ] in Glasgow October 1st 1874 arrived Otago New Zealand 31st Dec.1874 there were 39 from Ulster and 362 from Scotland .

I have found relatives living on Shillanavogy Rd. decendants of Margaret Davidson sister to Alex & Robert the McKendry family but they dont seem to know anything about the Davidsons my g.grand parents William Davidson & Catherine McDonnell b c1820.

I looked up Sir William Davidson Mayor of Kensington at your suggestion and found he traces to John of Knockboy 1590 but i think my family are a more common branch of the same family?

Any help will be appreciated thank you in the meantime, i am doing this for my grand children.
