The wheels are in motion as the ever popular Cloughmills Vintage Club returns on Saturday, June 20.

The event is arriving an entire month earlier than previous years as it usually takes place on the last Saturday in July.

However as the Armoy Road Races now also run on that date, the Cloughmills vintage folk have decided to move their rally forward to make it easier for people wishing to attend both events.

This year the main sponsor of the rally is McCarroll Plant Hire of Kilmandil Road.

As usual the event will be staged in a field at the rear of Patton’s Bar in the village of Cloughmills.

A wide range of vintage machinery will be welcomed to the event. This year the rally is having a special emphasis on tractors and implements with organisers hoping that the more unusual, the better.

There will also be a repeat performance of the donkey derby which appeared for the first time last year and turned out to be very popular with visitors.
