Hairdresser Jimmy kicks off the New Year in Style

SYNERGY Hair Salon Manager Jimmy Beech has kicked off the New Year in style having been selected as a member of the prestigious Wella Professionals Style Council for 2013.

The popular Ballymena hairdresser has worked at the salon on Belfast’s fashionable Lisburn Road for 10 years and is the only representative from Northern Ireland on the 12-strong panel which comprises talented hairdressers from throughout the UK and Ireland.

As a member of the Style Council in 2013 and with the talent and knowledge he has gained over the years, Jimmy will participate in mentorship development training at the Wella Professionals Studio in Dublin throughout the year, where he hopes to inspire and motivate others in the hairdressing profession.

Speaking about being selected as a member of the 2013 Wella Professionals Style Council, Jimmy said: “I am delighted to have been selected by Wella Professionals onto their Style Council for 2013, not only representing myself and Northern Ireland, but to put Synergy on the UK hairdressing map.

“It is a great honour and I am excited to get working on the various events, seminars and the mentoring programmes. By working and interacting with some genuinely talented stylists out there, I hope to encourage their creativity by sharing my knowledge and experience and inspire them to develop their talent.”

Wella’s NI Business Manager Michael Glover said: “We are delighted to have Jimmy selected onto the 2013 Wella Professionals Style Council.

“The Wella Professionals Style Council represents the finest creative talent in the hairdressing arena and, with outstanding talent and sheer enthusiasm for his profession, Jimmy will not just represent Synergy Hair but Northern Ireland in his field. This is a great achievement for Jimmy, and for Synergy, and I am confident he will be a great ambassador for hairdressing in Northern Ireland.

“Jimmy’s experience in hairdressing is impressive and I believe he will take full advantage of this opportunity. I have no doubt that his professionalism and wealth of knowledge will be essential to his students’ training.”

The Style Council will also ensure Jimmy receives exclusive training to further enhance his status as one of the UK and Ireland’s top stylists and develop his skills as a mentor and trainor so he can best pass on his knowledge to up and coming stylists.

Jimmy will be profiled in Wella Professionals published material as well as recommended as a member of the Style Council to salons looking for tailor-made guest stylist training.

He will be the guest stylist for studio courses in the Wella Professionals Studio and will have an opportunity to receive and trial new products ahead of their launch.
