Johnny Brady and his band will be back at Tullyglass House Hotel, Ballymena on Saturday night suitably buoyed by a string of recent successes.
Not only has Johnny collected two prestigious individual awards but his band has also been hailed as one of the most entertaining on the dancing circuit.
The success of his most recent album Dance On has served to thrust the personable Johnny to the forefront of the country dancing scene and he has now built up a huge fan base.
“I can’t believe the way things have gone since we started out on the road and hopefully they will continue in this vein,” Johnny said.
He added: “We seem to be winning new followers and that’s very encouraging. I thought that maybe we would do well to hold our own but we appear to be gaining in popularity all the time and that’s a tremendous fillip from our perspective.”
Known for their high-energy stage show and ability to establish a close rapport with their audiences, Johnny and his band have brought a new dynamic to the country dancing scene – and the Antrim singer promises that there is better to come.
On the occasion of their last visit to the Tullyglass, Johnny and his band drew a huge crowd and their appeal was very much in evidence.
The indications are that dancers will be out in force on Saturday particularly after the huge reaction engendered by the ‘Keep ’Er Country’ show.
Doors open at 9.15pm.
An attractive dine and dance offer is available incorporating a six-course carvery and admission to the dance for £20 while admission to the dance only is £12.
