Cancer Focus has teamed up with a local gym owner to offer local people a six-week fundraising health and fitness challenge.

The Ballymena Focus Fit Challenge will kick off on Monday, May 4, at Scott McGarry Health and Fitness, Ahoghill, and a limited number of places are still available.

“Whether you want to start a health transformation or just get fitter for the summer months, this challenge caters for everyone,” Suzie Colledge of Cancer Focus NI says.

“The challenge is free to enter but we are asking you to raise £300 in sponsorship for Cancer Focus NI. All the money you raise will be spent on the services we provide in the community,” she said.

Scott McGarry says: “The charity has a great presence in Ballymena and has a very active cancer prevention team, encouraging people of all ages to adopt a healthier lifestyle, so this is a perfect fit for us.”
