THE 32-year-old woman rescued from a house fire in Ahoghill last week has died in hospital.
Kara Connolly passed away in hospital on Wednesday, four days after being rescued from the blaze which broke out in the property on the village's Church Street.

Several local men tried to get into the house with a fire extinguisher after the blaze broke out late last Friday evening, May 2, but were beaten back by thick smoke.

Ms Connolly was then rescued by firefighters from the ground floor of the house, which was badly damaged. The Fire and Rescue Service said there was no smoke alarm in the house.

The mother-of-three is survived by her children, Adam, Daniel and David James; by parents John and Georgina; and, siblings, Tracie, Elizabeth, Kelly and David.
