One of the best loved children’s musicals comes to the stage of the Braid Centre, Ballymena shortly.

‘Annie’, the heartwarming story of an orphan eet in 1930’s New York during the Great Depression is a ‘Voiceworks Production’.

Brave young Annie is forced to live a life of misery and torment at Miss Hannigan’s strict orphanage.

Determined to find her real parents, her luck changes when she is chosen to spend Christmas at the residence of famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. But spiteful Miss Hannigan has other ideas and hatches a plan to spoil Annie’s search.

Featuring book and score by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie includes such unforgettable songs as ‘It’s the Hard Knock Life’, ‘Easy Street’, ‘I Don’t Need Anything But You’, plus the eternal anthem of optimism, ‘Tomorrow’.
