The recent AGM of Antrim Art Club brought an end to a very busy and successful year.

The club have held many exhibitions and appeared at various events over the past 12 months.

This year is set to be the best yet as they celebrate their 65th anniversary.

The new committee will plan a big exhibition to celebrate this milestone and hope to get a date for Oriel Gallery soon.

Members are pleased to announce that their Award winning WW1 Exhibition is currently on display in the Linen Hall Library and with an even more paintings with our new talented artists.

It was a year of many highlights, In October they were invited to set up an exhibition at the Cloughmills Arts and Antiques Fair.

The club were also invited to Carrick Art Club Exhibition, while in November they were delighted to win another award at the SARN Conference for their contribution to health and well being in the Antrim Community. September was the start of their new term and there was a great turn out on Membership Evening when the demo artist was Trevor Lawrence who did an exercise on skyscapes. End of November saw opening two new exhibitions, the Winter Wonderland exhibition in the Antrim Library then the group opened a feature window in Castle Mall for Christmas with stands on the Mall.

The club look forward to a still life demo with Colin Corkey on May 9 and are hoping to have an outing to the Richard Crofts Gallery and return to Castle Mall and Greenmount.
