Are you facing unemployment or reduced hours in 2016 or are you at a crossroads in your life and not sure what path to take and need some help in exploring your opportunities?

Then the Exploring Enterprise 3 Programme, run by Antrim Enterprise Agency, could be for you.

Exploring Enterprise 3 is due to commence in May, is free and aims to help people into sustainable employment or self employment through tailored training and mentoring and by gaining a recognised qualification in Understanding Business Enterprise.

The qualification will involve compiling a portfolio for assessment with no examinations involved.

The programme is aimed at anyone who is long term unemployed, lone parents, stay at home mums, people with disabilities, part time employed or in part time education as well as redundant or retired people.

Support on the programme includes CV preparation, employment searches, interview skills, writing cover letters and job applications, computer training as well as learning business enterprise and much more.

Anyone interested in the programme should contact Nicola Taggart, Antrim Enterprise Agency on 9446 7774.

Kerry McClintock, Business Development Officer of Antrim Enterprise Agency, said: “This is a free programme that helps you take the first steps to gaining employment or exploring your business idea.

“You will achieve an accredited qualification within the programme.

“This will improve your CV and help break down barriers to self-employment or Antrim Enterprise Agency, who are celebrating 25 years helping people realise their entrepreneurial dream, has experienced business advisors to offer advice and assistance and provide access to mainstream support options.”
