Detectives are investigating a burglary at apartments under renovation in the Leighinmohr Avenue area of Ballymena.

DCI Catherine Magee said the burglary is thought to have happened across the course of last weekend.

“Two Vokera boilers were taken as well as copper piping. Significant water damage was caused to the apartments when the copper was ripped out during the burglary,” she said.

“Anyone with any information or who has been offered a boiler of the same model for sale is asked to contact Ballymena detectives on the non-emergency number 101.”
