Appeal after burglary at Travellers’ site

Police are investigating the burglary of a caravan in the Travellers’ site in the Rathenraw estate in Antrim on Wednesday, April 27.

It was reported that sometime between 7.30pm and 9pm entry was gained to the caravan.

A number of internal doors and windows of the caravan were damaged and an X-Box, TV and DVD Player along with a quantity of clothing were stolen.

Sergeant Paul Whiteside is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact officers at Antrim Police Station on 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
