The owners of one of the Province’s most historic public houses, The Crosskeys Inn, have issued an appeal for the return of a gun which was stolen over the Christmas period from the premises where it had been on ornamental display.

The gun had been on display adjacent to a fireplace on the premises at Grange Road, Toomebridge.

Appealing for its return, the owners stated: “This gun is not of any great monetary value but is of historic and sentimental importance to The Crosskeys Inn. If it could be returned we would greatly appreciate it.”
