Ballymena is set to hold its biggest discount day of the year on Thursday, November 3.

Previously known as ‘Church Street Discount Day’ the Ballymena Business Improvement District (BID) has involved all shops in the town centre making it Northern Ireland’s biggest and best shopping discount day running from 9am to 9pm.

Alison Moore, Ballymena BID Manager, said; “Shoppers will benefit from fantastic reductions throughout the town and with music during the day, the town will be buzzing all day. We have Cool FM’s roadshow at the Bandstand from 2pm to 4pm with Cool’s very own Pete Snodden and local choirs and musicians will be playing around the town creating a great atmosphere for our many shoppers.

“Ballymena’s Discount Day has become one of the largest shopping days for Ballymena, not just for the retailers, but people really do come from far and wide, from Scotland to Strabane. We have a great offering in our town, given its compactness, a shopper can walk from one end of the town to the other in probably 15 minutes, it may take a little longer if they stop in every shop.

“With so many independent retailers we know the shrewd shopper loves coming to Ballymena to find that something different, whether it is a special pair of shoes, a fabulous jacket, a great coffee or dare I say, the perfect Christmas decoration.”
