Chamber reflects on successful year

Members of Ballymena Chamber of Commerce & Industry have reflected on a successful year at their annual general meeting.

The large turnout in the Adair Arms Hotel on Wednesday, April 13, heard out-going president Alan Stewart deliver an upbeat speech on the past 12 months, highlighting a number of successful Chamber run events.

Members of the Management Committee also gave reports on the projects and working groups in which they had been involved.

William McKean, who chaired the meeting for the election of officers, congratulated the Chamber on a very successful year and said it was great to see Chamber contributing so much to business life in the borough.

The officers elected for 2016/17 were - President, Ronan McCann; Vice President, Robin Cherry MBE; Hon. Secretary, Jackie Logan; Hon. Treasurer, Paul Muir.

Management Committee: Alan Stewart, Bridgene McKeever, Martin North, Alison Moore, Eugene Reid, Thomas McKillen, Jan Young, Carol Wilson, Rodney Kernohan and Darren Crawford.

Incoming President Ronan McCann congratulated Alan Stewart on an excellent two years in office and thanked him for all his hard work during that time.
