New Manchester United star Rashford lit up Showgrounds

Before he was scoring goals at Old Trafford, Man United's newest striking sensation Marcus Rashford was part of the Red Devils' 2014 winning Milk Cup side at the Ballymena Showgrounds.

18-year-old Rashford has four goals from his first two starts,two goals last week against Danish side Midtjylland helped his side progress in the Europa League.

Then incredibly he followed that up with two smart finishes against title chasing Arsenal to leave his manager Louis Van Gaal beaming with pride.

In the final of the Premier section in 2014, Rashford came off the bench at the Showgrounds to play his part as United retained the trophy.

The winning goal was scored by another break-out star, Cameron Bothwick-Jackson who has also had great start to his Man United career.

Two names added to the long list of footballers who took part in the competition which is now known as SuperCupNI and gone on to play on the biggest stage.
