A £120,000 capital investment road improvement scheme for the village of Ahoghill will be completed in the autumn.
The improvement scheme on the A42 Galgorm Road from the Cullybackey Link Road to the Killane Road will provide almost one kilometre of new asphalt road surface that will strengthen and improve the road.
To help ensure the safety of road users and contractors it will be necessary to introduce temporary traffic management arrangements. Diversionary routes will be well signposted.
Transport NI has planned the works operations and traffic management arrangements to minimise any inconvenience to the public, however, drivers should expect delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the area.
As with all schemes of this type unfavourable weather may impact on planned completion dates.
