Ballymena theatre company, the Castle Players, take to the stage this weekend for their new production.

The group, based at St Patrick’s Church, will perform the Sam Cree comedy ‘Cupid Wore Skirts’ at the Castle Street venue on Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22 (7.30pm).

The play sees an eligible widower places an advert in a newspaper seeking to meet a lady “with prospects of marriage” - with chaotic results!

Tickets, priced at £7 (£5 concessions) will go on sale shortly and will also be available on the nights of the performance.

This year’s production follows on from the success of the Castle Players’ debut productions last year, which received widespread praise and which also helped raised a significant sum of money for charity.

A raffle will also take place on each night of the production.
