Appeal for information following spate of burglaries

Police are appealing for information following a spate of daytime burglaries in the Ballymena area.

The Times understands the burglaries occurred in Dunfane Park, Old Galgorm Road and Sand Road, Ballymena, Rossland Park, Broughshane and Beechwood Drive, Ahoghill on Wednesday, December 7.

Further burglaries took place on Thursday, December 8 in Drumtara and Devenagh Way, Ballymena, Royal Court in Gracehill and Woodgreen Park, Ballymena.

Commenting on the incidents, a PSNI spokesperson said: “If you have witnessed any suspicious activity or have any information contact officers at Ballymena Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

“Or, alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
