Police in Ballymena have released CCTV footage in a bid to help identify two men behind an armed robbery at a filling station on Largy Road, near Ahoghill on Wednesday, November 26.
Detective Chief Inspector Catherine Magee said: “The footage demonstrates the violent intent of these two men.They have their faces entirely covered, but their height and shape may be familiar to someone. Also, their gait, stance and movements may provide a further clue as to their identity.”
The Detective Chief Inspector appealed to anyone whoi may have been holding back information about the crime to come forward.
“Take a look at this footage. It was an extremely frightening ordeal for the two young female shop assistants involved. These criminals were quite prepared to use violence and highly threatening behaviour to get their hands on till money. It is important that we keep people safe by bringing them before the courts.
