As in previous years, St Louis was a hive of activity on Open Night last week.
P7 pupils and parents had an opportunity to view aspects of one of the top schools in N.I. at first hand.
Welcoming the visitors, Principal Mr Rafferty highlighted the many positive features of the school including its superb academic profile and the high quality Pastoral Care and emphasis upon personalising the learning experience for every student that sets St Louis apart from other schools.
Commenting further, Mr Rafferty drew attention to the schools recent designation as having IQM-Inclusion Quality Mark status.
“As the first Grammar School in N.I. to acquire the status we are delighted that external assessors were able to reinforce, in such glowing terms, all that we as a school promote.”
St Louis also celebrates its 90th Year as an education provider in Ballymena.
A range of functions have been planned to mark the occasion throughout 2014 continued Mr Rafferty who noted that the new cohort of students would be joining the school in an historic year.
The Department of Education have also announced that St Louis is to proceed with a Capital Build Programme of almost £4m. All in all 2014 will be a momentous year.
