Females walking alone assaulted in Randalstown incidents

Officers from Antrim Neighbourhood Policing Team are investigating reports of two assaults in Randalstown.

The first incident took place on Craigstown Road at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, November 1. The second at Church Road at around 7.25am on of Sunday, November 27.

In both incidents females walking alone were assaulted by a male described as being over 6ft tall and possibly of Eastern European origin.

Sergeant Davy Thom said: “We are actively investigating both incidents and have released an image of a man we hope can assist us with our enquiries.

“If you recognise the man pictured or have any information which could be of use to our investigation I would ask you to contact officers at the Neighbourhood Policing Team in Antrim on 101. Information can also be given anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
