Friday's inaugural Muscular Dystrophy UK golf day at Galgorm Castle Golf Club will raise vital funds for the charity.

Muscular Dystrophy UK’s North West supporters are organising their first Golf Day on Friday 2nd October at Galgorm Castle and invite any budding Rory McIlroys to come and take part.

A great day of golfing is planned with prizes for top gross score, top net score, best team, top scoring lady, nearest the pin, longest drive and even a wooden spoon prize!

Muscle-wasting conditions cause muscles to weaken and waste over time, leading to increasing disability and in many cases, significantly shortening life-expectancy.

Muscular Dystrophy UK funds groundbreaking research into treatments for the conditions and supports the 2,000 families in the Northern Ireland who are affected by them.

Places cost £40 each and this includes tea/coffee on arrival, a goody bag and a Golfers Fry on your return to the Clubhouse.

Please email c.gibson@musculardystrophyuk.org for more information or to register your place.
