Ballycraigy Primary School’s outdoor learning group, Greenfingers, is one step closer to extending its eco-education garden following a successful pitch for funding to financial services company,

Provident Financial.

The school’s Greenfingers gardening group, along with their parents, relatives and members of the local community, meet every Thursday to work on maintaining the school’s award-winning gardens.

Mark Palmer, Chair of the school’s Board of Governors and also a Provident agent, nominated them for Provident Financial’s community outreach programme ‘Good Neighbour’ which enabled Mark to secure a £500 cheque towards Greenfingers’ plan to expand the school’s outdoor play and learning areas.
