The Ballymena Club for the Hard of Hearing is calling on those dealing with hearing loss to join them in their new year’s programme of events.

Roberta Boyd, Secretary of the Club, said: “Hearing loss can leave many of us feeling isolated and finding day to day life difficult.

“The new year can be a great time to make positive changes to your life.

“As well as offering practical help and support, the Club also gives opportunities to socialise in a hearing-loss friendly environment. Everyone is welcome to attend.”

The Club will hear a talk from the Alzheimer’s Society at its next meeting, which is being held on Wednesday at 7.30pm at Ballykeel Business Centre.

The Club also runs Lip Reading Classes, free of charge, on Saturday mornings at 10.30am.
