With Armed Forces Day to be hosted in Antrim tomorrow, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council are delighted to announce that Trialstar will be showcasing their skills at the event.

Trialstar, a motorcycle trials display team from Northern Ireland, boasts an impressive line-up of riders, including six-times Irish Champion Andy Perry, and are guaranteed to wow the crowd with their amazing feats of bravery riding.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor John Scott is encouraging everyone to come along and enjoy what will be a great family day out.

“As well as the mind-blowing performances from Trialstar, there will be lots of exciting activities and events for all the family to enjoy from inflatable entertainment, assault courses and helicopter displays to the World War camps and military capability demonstrations,” Cllr. Scott said.

He added: “So come along and join us as we celebrate our Armed Forces heroes.”

Armed Forces Day will commence at 11am with a parade of Regulars, Reserves, Cadets and Veterans from Cunningham Way, through Antrim town and into Antrim Castle Gardens via the Barbican Gate.

The parade will then make its way into Antrim Stadium for a Drumhead Service at 12noon.

The day will include a full line up of family fun events at Antrim Castle Gardens and Antrim Stadium, from 11am to 5pm.
