£10,000 heroin seizure in Ballykeel - three arrested

Police in Ballymena have arrested three men following a Class A drugs find in the Ballykeel area of the town on the evening of Wednesday 13 March.

The arrests and find came as police conducted a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Heroin with a street value of around £10,000 was found and seized.

Police arrested the men, aged 39 years, 40 years and 42 years, on suspicion of Possession of a Class A Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply, Possession of a Class A Controlled Drug and Conspiracy to Supply a Class A Controlled Drug. All three remain in police custody.
