Get a grip on stress at All Saints Parish Centre

Dunclug Partnership is hosting a series of awareness sessions on emotional health and well being across the month of January 2013.

On Monday 28th January 2013, Dunclug Partnership will be hosting a talk by Conor McCafferty from Zest Healing The Hurt, at All Saints Parish Centre, Cushendall Rd, Ballymena, doors 7pm for 7:30pm start. Conor is a renowned therapist trainer and facilitator who will address issues that affect everyone in these modern times; stress, addictions, anxiety, identity and suicide awareness.

The talk aims to give advice and support to help get us through these more difficult times and to help give us an insight into supporting ourselves, our friends, family members, colleagues and / or client groups.

On Wednesday 30th January 2013 Dunclug Partnership will be welcoming Dare To Stretch’s Aine Wallace to All Saints Parish Centre, Cushendall Rd, Ballymena. Aine is a certified ASIST and SafeTALK Trainer with Living Works and will be delivering a full day’s workshop commencing with Suicidetalk and then SafeTALK.

This free one day workshop will enable participants to gain certification in both Suicidetalk and SafeTALK: The Workshop will help participants to: Dispel myths in relation to suicide prevention; Increase participant’s awareness of the key messages in relation to supporting someone at risk of suicide; Encourage participants to begin to think about the things that they can do to prevent suicide within themselves and their community and cover the helping steps T: Tell, A: Ask, L: Listen & K: Keepsafe.

The workshops are supported by North Antrim Community Network’s Community based Suicide Prevention Project, the Department of Social Development and the Public Health Agency.
