Jewellery taken during suspected burglary

A suspected burglary in the Garvaghy Road area of Portglenone last week is being investigated by police.

Officers were called to a house on the evening of Saturday March 9 to find that jewellery had been taken.

Police believe that entry was gained by breaking a window to the back of the house.

Anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact police at Ballymena on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
