A LOCAL entrepreneur has been awarded a ‘wheely' exciting new contract, securing the racy title of Official Valeting Team for Top Gear Festival Dublin 2010.
Ballymena-based Total Perfection mobile valeting and detailing company, owned by local man Mark Smiley, has been contracted to clean, hoover, wax and polish over 100 vehicles at the three day Top Gear Festival.
This is the second year in a row that the Ballymena company has won the coveted Top Gear contract to be sole valeter at the Dublin show.
A shining example of good business practice, Mark and his dedicated valeting team will rub shoulders with BBC Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and the Stig, as well as the world's fastest cars at Ireland's number one motoring event.
Mark, who founded his company in 2008 when he was just 23, said: "I'm very excited and proud to be part of the official team at this spectacular motoring event. Top Gear is such a well-loved TV programme with a huge cult following and to win this contract for a second year has certainly put Total Perfection in pole position as the No.1 valeting and detailing service in Ireland."
Mark has accelerated his mobile valeting business in a very short time, earning a squeaky clean reputation for Total Perfection.
With four employees and two fully equipped mobile vans covering callouts from all over the country, the company's success is fuelled by attention to detail and scrupulous customer service.
Mark certainly has high expectations, and knows that his company will always lap his competitors.
He added: "Our services are positioned as top-of-the-range and we have customers from all over the UK and Ireland. We work with all types of vehicles, from Ferraris' to company fleet cars as well as the discerning housewife's run around. We will go to any callout throughout the province with no extra charge.
