Megaliths of Northern Ireland Exhibition

THE Exhibition Gallery at the Braid will from Thursday, January 10, be showcasing Megaliths of Northern Ireland.

This is a touring exhibition from Down County Museum with family learning hands-on resources specially commissioned by Mid-Antrim Museums Service.

Admission is free and visitors who call until its conclusion on February 28 will discover the significance of ancient standing stone structures which are scattered across this region.

They will also discover more about the Neolithic people, how they lived and farmed as well as the different myths and legends surrounding these stone structures.

You are even welcome to dress up in Neolithic clothing and construct an ancient tomb!
