Paisley offers best wishes for United in Shield Final

LOCAL MP Ian Paisley has extended his ‘best wishes’ to Ballymena football club ahead of their county Antrim shield final next Tuesday.

Speaking ahead of Ballymena United’s big game with Linfield next Tuesday, North Antrim MP Ian Paisley said: “I would like to extend my best wishes to the players and staff of Ballymena United who have already done the town proud by getting this far.

If anyone knows how to tactically defeat Linfield it’s Glenn Ferguson and let’s all hope the Manager and players can get a result on Tuesday night.

The whole town is awaiting with eager anticipation as the lads go for glory on Tuesday night and fingers crossed we will have some silverware and a reason to celebrate at the end of the game.”
