Police appeal after man (21) assaulted at Sentry Hill

Police are appealing for information after a 21-year-old man was assaulted by three people in the Sentry Hill area of Ballymena on Wednesday, December 30.

The man was assaulted by three unknown people at approximately 5pm on that date in what is believed to be a sectarian attack. He required hospital treatment for his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

Constable Martin Cassidy said: “I would ask anyone with any information to contact Ballymena Police Station on the non emergency number 101. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
