Ballymena police are investigating two commercial burglaries in the Ballymena area and a third attempted burglary on Galgorm Road.

Constable Ross Irwin said: “The incidents happened overnight between Tuesday November 24 and November 25. We are investigating a possible link between both burglaries, which involved a workshop on the Lisnahunshin Road and a garage on Knockan Road.

“An industrial power washer and a compressor were taken from the workshop. A car transporting trailer, a trolley jack and a small amount of fuel were taken from inside the garage.

“A third, and again possibly linked incident involved an attempted break in at a maintenance garage in the Galgorm Road during the same period.

“An outer side door was damaged but nothing stolen from inside.”

Constable Irwin concluded: “Please call us on the non-emergency number 101 if you have any information on any of the incidents. Or can contact Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.”
