The rector and congregation of St Patrick’s Church, Castle Street, are raising funds and praying for Nepal earthquake victims.

The Ballymena church has had a close connection with Nepal over the years and its rector, Canon Stuart Lloyd, has made numerous mission trips there.

In response to the earthquake, they have already organised a special time of prayer and also launched a monetary appeal to which donations from the wider community would also be welcome and much appreciated.

These can be left at the church office on Castle Street.
