Trio arrested in Antrim on suspicion of drugs offences

Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of a number of drugs offences following the planned search of a house in the Angus Street area of Antrim this morning (Monday November 7).

The two men were aged 18 and 19, and the woman was 39 years old.

The woman has also been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

All three have been taken to a police station in Belfast for questioning.

A number of items, including a suspected firearm and a quantity of suspected Class A and Class B controlled drugs, have been seized for further examination.
