For some time now, the Tullyglass House Hotel in Ballymena has basked in the reputation of being one of Ulster’s top country dancing venues.

Now this enviable status is about to be further enhanced through the staging of the inaugural Seven Towers Country Dancing Festival which will be staged on Saturday, June 6.

In conjunction with JKC Country, the hotel will host two top bands, a leading country DJ and assorted personalities in what promises to be a proverbial five-hour feast of top-class music and dancing.

Johnny Brady and his Band, along with Gerry Guthrie and his Band, will be the frontline acts for what is certain to be a lively, action-packed show that is designed to cater for even the most discerning musical tastes.

Johnny, of course, is very much the local boy made good, living as he does close to the Tullyglass which has proven a launch-pad for the huge progress he has made since initially taking to the road with his talented outfit.

Similarly, Mayo man Gerry Guthrie has carved out a reputation as a quality singer, an entertainer whose talent and vocal prowess have already taken him a long way.

Both bands will bring vibrancy, versatility and sheer professionalism to the Tullyglass stage for what promises to be an unforgettable occasion.

And leading country DJ Maurice will bring his own inimitable zest and enthusiasm into play as he spins the very best of current chart material.

With country dancing enjoying a boom period right now, the emphasis remains very much on providing quality, value-for-money shows and in this context the Seven Towers Country Dancing looks set to be a sure-fire winner.
