Police investigating the fatal road traffic collision on the Lisnevenagh Road in Antrim shortly before 8pm last night are appealing for witnesses.

A 62 year old man died in hospital following a collision between a silver coloured Peugeot 308 car and a blue coloured Leyland Horsebox. The deceased was the driver of the car. Two people, a man and a woman, who were travelling in the Horsebox sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Police would appeal to anyone who was travelling on the Lisnevenagh Road and who witnessed the collision to contact local Police in Antrim Police Station or the Collision Investigation Unit at Steeple Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
